I review changes to medicare, talk about the different types of plan for seniors, explain part D and how they get it, how medicaid works with medicare, scams to be aware of, answer any questions they have on how their plan works. it's open to anyone, but it's a review for the seniors I work with because they have a hard time understanding Medicare A, B and D and other options. It's just educational and I encourage them to reach out to their insurance person if they want to look at other options. No selling or gathering of information except comparison sheets that medicare puts out IF they want to review. I've been hosting educational event for the last decade at libraries, except for last year, because I thought it was becoming boring. I've had so many people reaching out requesting that I do it again. There is no selling, it's more about them understanding what type of plan they have and if Part D is included in their plan. If nothing else, they go away knowing more than did and that's a win.
