Grand Kyiv Ballet presents a powerful double bill: Carmen Suite and the world premiere of Boléro. Carmen Suite is a bold and electrifying reinterpretation of one of the most iconic stories in classical repertoire. Set to Rodion Shchedrin’s powerful adaptation of Bizet’s music, this production reveals Carmen as a force of nature. Through expressive choreography and dramatic intensity, the story unfolds as a gripping psychological journey of love, desire, and fate. The evening continues with the world premiere of “Boléro”, choreographed by Grand Kyiv Ballet’s resident choreographer, Vladislav Dobshynskyi. Set to Maurice Ravel’s hypnotic and iconic score, this new interpretation builds with unstoppable intensity — a mesmerizing crescendo of movement, rhythm, and collective energy. Together, these two one-act ballets create a striking contrast of narrative depth and abstract power, blending classical heritage with contemporary vision. Performed by the internationally acclaimed artists of Grand Kyiv Ballet, this evening promises a visually captivating and emotionally charged experience. Experience two masterpieces in one night — where passion meets rhythm, and tradition is reborn through innovation. Performance is approximately 2 hour long with a 20 minute intermission. All ages will be allowed but ages 5 and up require a ticket. Photography (NO FLASH) and videography will be allowed There will not be a professional.
