The Dead, The Devil, and The Flesh (1974) – A professor delves into the study of the dead and the spirit world, eventually delving so deep as to visit as an observer. But such a visit comes with serious consequences. A film by José Maria Oliveira, a recent convert to the Church in Francoist Spain. Oliveira sought to share his excitement for his new faith through the medium of horror cinema. A rare screening of a fascinating film from the archives. Restored in 2022. November 6 7pm BYU Library Auditorium Join us for this semester’s ARCHIVE CLASSIC – presenting a historical title that has special meaning to the BYU Community. This film is not currently available outside of BYU, and we plan to screen it about every 4 years. Don’t miss this singular event!
