Wardle Fields Regional Park

The best playground in the south valley and the one worth driving past closer ones for: a big climbing structure, a zip line, and a splash pad that runs roughly May to September. The lot fills by late morning on a hot Saturday, and there is almost no shade over the water, so go early or come back after four.

Bingham Creek Regional Park

Newer and much bigger than a neighbourhood park, with a splash pad and shaded pavilions you can actually sit under. Quieter than Wardle Fields for the same kind of afternoon.
